Our comprehensive weed control program includes preventive measures to keep weeds from sprouting. Even if you don’t see any weeds in your yard right now, weed seeds could be lying dormant and waiting to sprout at the right time. Our pre- emergent herbicides act as a protective barrier to keep weeds from appearing in your yard.
Weed control is a continuous battle, as weather and seasons change different weeds will sprout. We use pre- emergent herbicides; however, breakthrough still happens. In that case our selective post- emergent herbicides target weeds without injuring your desirable turf. Additionally, our high-quality fertilizer creates a dense, well-nourished lawn to create an environment that is difficult for weeds to take over.
Our Weed Control and Fertilization program is custom tailored to the needs of your lawn. We use pre- emergent herbicides to create a protective barrier to prevent weeds from germinating. We also use post- emergent herbicides to treat broadleaf and grassy weeds present in your lawn. We use only the highest quality fertilizer to feed your lawn to create a beautiful, lush turf.
Our treatments are most effective when they have had 24 hours to “soak in” to the weeds, but receiving rainfall or irrigation before then does not “wash away” the treatment. If your treatment is on your watering day, you may water when the treatment has dried. We ask that you “water in” each treatment with at least ½” of water within 48 hours.
Turf discoloration or bare spots can be caused by several factors including disease, insect infestation, or most commonly maintenance schedule. Frequent mowing with clean, sharp blades and adequate water are extremely important in creating an environment that your turf can thrive in. We offer preventive and curative insect and fungicide treatments. If you know of any areas that are prone to issues, please notify us.
